  Introduction Ameen Sayani was born on December 21, 1932 in Mumbai and was a prominent personality in the field of radio.  His voice was not only heard, but also appreciated throughout the Indian subcontinent.  Although he passed away on February 20, 2024 at an age of 91 due to heart failure, his legacy continues to resonate in the hearts of millions of radio listeners. Early life  Ameen Sayani  started his career as an English broadcaster on All His India His Radio (AIR) and switched to Hindi after independence. He was introduced to his AIR by his older brother Hamid Sayani.Ameen participated in the English program there for 10 years.
